Students are faced with a variety of critical issues: racial injustice, police brutality, and criminal justice reform. How can students create real change through action and engagement? Join us in this important and timely discussion. A panel of non-profit leaders, student leaders, political strategists, and community members will discuss current initiatives and ways to participate in local efforts for change. This event is free and nonpartisan.

Join us in conversation with refugees and the non-profits that work with them to better understand their perspective. Discover the work that is going on in Clarkston and the Greater Atlanta area to better support our refugee community and how you can get involved.
Hunger 101

Learn about the issues that surround hunger and food insecurity with the Atlanta Community Food Bank. During this workshop, we will explore local, state, and national hunger and food insecurity issues. Join us in this interactive workshop that will include an activity, reflection, and discussion on topics impacting our community.

Isolation and COVID-19

Although loneliness and social isolation can affect anyone regardless of age, the elderly are particularly vulnerable, especially under the current conditions of the pandemic. How are we taking care of our seniors? Chat with seniors and non-profit leaders in this virtual forum to discover how our community is engaging seniors in creative ways, and how you can get involved!
