Individuals looking to volunteer on a regular basis are invited to engage with our ongoing service partners. Examples of opportunities include Project One on One with the Children’s Restoration Network and Big Bethel AME Saturday School Academy. Call 404-413-1550 to learn more about ongoing volunteer opportunities.
Individuals and groups can also use GivePulse to find volunteer opportunities promoted by community partners and to log volunteer hours.
In addition, Student Civic Engagement hosts a Nonprofit Organization Volunteer and Engagement Fair during the fall and spring semester where nonprofit organizations come to campus to recruit interested Georgia State University community members for volunteer and internship positions.
Student Civic Engagement staff is available to help or advise students about volunteering. Community service opportunities are available for all interests, schedules and talents. Civic Engagement is here to help students find positions that are a good fit for them, so that the student, the agency and the community benefit from the student’s participation.
