Civic Engagement would like to proudly recognize our students who graduated in the spring of 2016. Civic Engagement predicts bright futures for each of them and wishes them the best of luck post-graduation. Their laughs, hard work, dedication and smiles will be missed but certainly not forgotten.

Jirmiah Leverette served as a graduate assistant with Civic Engagement, hosting successful projects and programs such as Trick-or-Treat Fest and the United Way Shoebox Project. In addition to taking the lead on several projects, Jirmiah took the lead with Civic Engagement’s annual Panther Breakaway International trip to Costa Rica. Due to her hard work and dedication, this year’s trip was both successful and memorable. Jirmiah will be graduating with her master’s degree in social work. Her post graduation plans include returning to her hometown of Chicago where she will be pursuing her doctorate and J.D. degree and catching up on much needed rest. It is safe to say that Jirmiah will enjoy a robust life after Georgia State University. Civic Engagement wishes her much success in her post-graduation career!
