Panther Cares Program
All Georgia State University student organizations can now organize their own service projects! Through our Panther Cares program, groups can submit a project to be approved with our office. We will even help you implement it.
Purpose: The “Panther Cares Program” is an ongoing service initiative that the Office of Civic Engagement has created to become more involved with student organizations in their volunteering and community outreach endeavors.
How to get involved: Organizations must submit a proposal to our office at least one month in advance of the community service event/project. It should contain the date, location, time, estimated budget, theme, a detailed/brief description of the service opportunity, as well as how our office can help.
When: Each month, any student organization can submit a proposal for review.
What will the Office of Civic Engagement do to help? The Office of Civic Engagement will select the best proposal submitted for the month and will assist with the service event in areas such as: Volunteer Recruitment, Advertisement, Project Planning, Purchasing Supplies and Transportation (when appropriate).
